Shavasana

As from June there will be a Shavasana weekend once a month in the ashram Brindavon. This is Mataji’s wish for us students who live in the ashram. Shavasana is the relaxation asana in yoga and is described as the most difficult exercise – the aim is to relax physically while remaining mentally alert.

The ashram will be closed on the Shivasana weekends and aarti will not be performed. This time of shavsana is a time only for the community of students living in the ashram.
