Durga Puja – Opening of Sri Neem Karoli Baba Mandir
October 15th to 17th, 2021

Goddess Durga symbolizes a divine feminine power that is inherent in every human being. She comes in the form of humility, in the form of devotion, in the form of justice and in her highest form, that of unconditional love.Sri Durgamayi Ma

This year with Durga Puja – the great festival in honor of the Divine Mother – we also celebrate the opening of Sri Neem Karoli Baba Mandir, concluding two years of reconstruction and renovation.
We look forward to the opening with joyful anticipation.
With the corona virus still spreading, please be sure to be aware of the corona rules in effect at the ashram, as written below.

Durga Puja Festival Weekend October 15th to 17th, 2021

Friday evening:

Lord Hanuman’s Murti, which Vishnu Digambar brought from India in 1974, will be taken from Brindavon ashram to Sri Neem Karoli Baba Mandir. We all will be waiting for Mataji to arrive while singing kirtan. We will then welcome Lord Hanuman to His new home with an aarti. With Lord Hanuman’s arrival, Mataji inaugurates Sri Neem Karoli Baba Mandir.

Admission at Sri Neem Karoli Baba Mandir: 19:30 to 20:30, contribution 10€.

Sri Neem Karoli Baba Mandir will be open from 10:30 am and throughout the day. There will be no fixed admission times on this festive day and everyone can come, also leave in between and come back whenever they wish.*
We will receive Mataji’s darshan and sing kirtan all day long – a simple festival bhandara will be offered around midday.
In the evening we worship Devi Durga with a sacred fire at the Dhuni in the garden of the ashram.

Admission 10:30-17:00 – contribution for the whole day 35€, from 17 o’clock contribution only for the evening 20€.

Sunday morning:

Darshan with MA – in Mataji’s presence we will watch the wonderful film about Maharajji’s life “Windfall of Grace” by Japna Tulsi, for the first time with German subtitles.

Start 10:00 am, contribution 10 € – please arrive half an hour in advance.

You must either be fully vaccinate, recovered from a Corona infection or have a negative PCR test – not older than 48 hours. In all cases you must bring a certificate, because the ashram is obliged to check it at the entrance of Sri Neem Karoli Baba Mandir.
(For Ashram Brindavon, the 2 G rule – fully vaccinated or recovered – continues to apply to all visitors.)

*Registration in advance is required, it ends one day before the festival weekend starts, on Thursday, October 14th at 6 pm. Please write to anmeldung@sri-ma.de for which darshan you would like to register.

Children can come with their parents on all days. Parents always look after their children themselves.

For the many devotees of Mahrajji from India, the US and around the world who have also given donations to the Sri Neem Karoli Baba Mandir, Mataji has asked us to livestream the Aarti to Lord Hanuman and the Fire Ceremony on Saturday.

Jai Hanuman!
