Vesakh 2023

In honor of Gautama Buddha, his birth and enlightenment, many chela and visitors of the ashram celebrated Vesakh together at Sri Neem Karoli Baba Mandir this weekend. Throughout the day we chanted Buddhist mantra and laid a large mandala made of flowers and petals.

On Vesakh we celebrate Ma’s presence on this earth as a living Buddha – a human being who has attained the highest consciousness. And even though Ma could not be here this year, we clearly felt Ma’s blessing and presence in our hearts throughout the celebrations.

As we began, Hanuman read these words from Ma to all of us:

namaste my beloved chela!
from all my heart, I send you blessings and love for today’s vesak celebrations.
may all human beings realize their buddha consciousness that naturally rests within them.
may all humans live in their pure buddha nature.
with love – ramram MA

Retreat in May 2023

Ya Devi Sarva Bhuteshu Matri Rupena Samastita
Namastasyai Namastasyai Namastasyai Namo Namaha

That divine power, who exists in all beings as mother –
reverence to her, reverence to her!

Ma took us on an inner journey during this retreat she gave at Sri Neem Karoli Baba Mandir over the weekend – a journey that brought us closer to the divine Mother in all of us.
We were amazed to witness Ma consecrating the Murti of Goddess Durga in her temple shrine, adorning her and giving her life through her breath.
From the bottom of our hearts we sang Devi Pranam, which describes and honours the divine motherly qualities. These qualities – such as faith, forgiveness, inner wealth or compassion – rest in all beings – as Ma teaches us – waiting for us to live them.
For three whole days Ma was with us at the Baba Mandir. She has realized all these qualities in herself and shows us how to bring them to life within ourselves as well. In so many moments we could feel the deep, silent and at the same time vibrant presence of our GuruMa – during Darshan – at the sacred fire – in smaller circles, where Ma responded to each of our questions with a profound and guiding answer, like an unshakable rock.

Reverence to you, Divine Mother, reverence to you!

New Murti of Lord Hanuman Ji – Inauguration postponed

A few weeks ago a very special gift from Baba’s devotees in India and the UK reached the ashram – the large murti of Lord Hanuman, who embodies unconditional love and devotion to Ram.

The festive inauguration of Lord Hanuman Ji’s new temple was scheduled for June 15th – but this summer the complete roof of the Sri Neem Karoli Baba Mandir will be renewed and the work can start earlier than planned. Therefore, Ma has postponed the inauguration until later this summer – after the work is completed – and the Ashram will announce the exact date here soon.

Pictures of Hanuman Jayanti and Easter

Uplifted by Ma’s presence, we recited 108 Hanuman Chalisa in celebration of Hanuman Jayanti, the great festival in honor of Lord Hanuman.
To all who attended, Ma wrote in a message how proud Ma is of all of us for singing so beautifully and vibrantly through the night.

Early in the morning on Easter Sunday, before dawn, we were in silence at the Dhuni with Ma. Everyone of us received Easter water from Ma’s hand, of which Ma says:

“This Easter water is a symbol for the eternal source of inner bliss that springs from itself and every one of us carries within.”
