We sing 7 Hanuman Chalisa

Already during Maharajji’s lifetime the Hanuman Chalisa – 40 verses in praise of Lord Hanuman – was sung on Tuesdays at Dada Mukerjee’s house in 4 Chruch Lane, Allahabad, where Baba often stayed during the winter months. We are keeping this tradition alive here in the Ashram Brindavon.

7.30-8.30 pm
Admission 7.00 pm

Heart-Chakra-Meditation und Kin-Hin

Instructed by one of Mataji’s long-time students, we practice heart-chakra-meditation the way our Guru Sri Durgamayi Ma has taught us as well as kin-hin, which is walking-meditation in budhist tradition. Anyone is welcome, no matter if you are just beginning to meditate or simply would like to practice meditation together with others.

7.30-8.30 pm
Admission 7.00 pm

Teachings of Sri Durgamayi Ma

Once a month we listen to the recording of a spoken darshan by Mataji.

Admission 7.00 pm

Monthly Events

Anyone wishing to receive Mataji’s darshan and meet her in person can do so during darshan weekends at the Ashram Brindavon, which Mataji offers once or twice a month. On Saturday evenings usually, (except at weekends with special celebrations) visitors in the ashram can meet Mataji in a smaller group and ask Mataji a question, if they so wish.

Although Mataji generally speaks in German, there is always someone who will translate her words into English for anyone who doesn’t speak German. Mataji herself speaks english well.

In the course of the year we celebrate hindu, budhist and christian festivals, because elements of these religions have been part of Mataji’s path to enlightment, which is why these religions are represented and honoured with altars in the temple-area of Ashram Brindavon. Other festivals originate from us being desciples of our beloved Guru Sri Durgamayi Ma and of her Guru, our Satguru, Sri Neem Karoli Baba.
