Once a month, a Shavasana weekend is held in the Ashram Brindavon. This is an exercise that Mataji gave her students who live in the ashram and to help this community find outer and inner calm. Shavasana is the name of the relaxation position in yoga which aims at relaxing physically while remaining mentally alert and concentrated. On Shavasana weekends the ashram is closed for visitors on Saturdays and Sundays.
The Ashram Brindavon will reopen on May 7th for the morning aarti celebration.
