Celebration of the 35th anniversary of the enlightenment of Sri Durgamayi Ma
Quite unexpected for many of us and then very overwhelming, in Ma’s presence we saw many many photos showing MA with her students and disciples over the years - the first chela have now been at Ma’s side for 30 years!
MA reminded us that she was just like us, with all the distorted ideas that we also have today, and that without the help of her masters Sri Neem Karoli Baba and after His death Sri Ma Jaya Sati Bhagavati, she would never be here with us.
In the booklet to accompany this weekend, one chela wrote:
"And when our striving for fulfillment wanes, darkness takes hold of us, it is MA who keeps rekindling the flame in our hearts. Her words, her gaze, her laughter, her anger, her pleading, her demanding - in all, Ma serves us students, guiding us on our path to God."
