Open day
Sri Durgamayi Ma Ashram e.V. has been supporting the charity campaign Aktion 100.000 with an open day since 1999. Numerous visitors come to the Brindavon ashram - the ashram house in the eastern part of the city - every year to experience the beautiful temple rooms and the open and friendly atmosphere. Those who wish can sing along to the kirtan, take part in guided meditations or listen to a recorded Darshan by Durgamayi Ma.
With the small, exquisite flea market and Indian vegetarian dishes lovingly prepared in the ashram kitchen, this day has become a set event in the year for many people from Ulm and the surrounding area.
It is a concern of the association to recognize and live what unites all religions.
All proceeds are donated to the Aktion 100.000 campaign of the Ulmer Newspaper Südwest Presse.
