SatsangLetter- June
In this edition Ma’s chela write about what they experienced during the retreat Ma gave us over three days at the end of May. At the end of this month the ashram Brindavon was open to all during the Open Door Day which has been held every year since the foundation of the ashram in 1999. The proceeds go to the Ulm charity “Aktion 100.000”. This is a big day for us chela with lots of advance preparations and it is also a possibility for us to talk to the people interested in getting to know the ashram about our path at the side of our Ma while they are browsing the flea market, eating the Indian food prepared by the Ashram or during a cup of coffee and a piece of homemade cake.
In the last retreat, we saw in the presence of Sri Durgamayi MA an enchanting Indian movie.
Before we started watching the movie,MA gave us a lovely surprise. She brought us prasad in the form of ice cream. So MA ate ice cream with us.The movie was about three women, who lived in Mumbai. Their way of living was shown in this film. In the background we could saw the fast colourful images of Mumbai. Like a contrast,in the foreground, this slow storyline of the three women. These women were faced with heartache and obstacles on their journey through life. And despite these challenges they remained in touch with their own self. They stayed intune with the inner flow. And finally created a wonderful new safe space for themselves and the others. I was deeply impressed by the emotion conveyed by the women. It reminded me that Sri Durgamayi MA also created a space. This is what the BABA MANDIR represents for me. A place where we can be in the presence of Sri Durgamayi MA.
We come with the heartache to find the unconditional love of MA.

Growing up in Kathmandu, I have seen temples of so many gods and goddesses and so many festivals and - really soooo many rituals. One would not be able to not notice some or the other form of God in the city. Walking down the streets of Kathmandu, you would see hundreds of statues of Buddha, you would see someone bowing down to a temple or lighting a lamp almost everywhere.
But even after having grown up in such a Holy place, I never found the essence or meaning of all of it until I met my Ma - Shri Durgamayi Ma. My Ma, who is the human embodiment of all these temples, the essence of all these rituals, is the one who comes to us and gives us Darshan and loves us unconditionally. And this “unconditional Love” is not just another thought created by the mind but rather something to be experienced deep inside one’s being. And the only thing that my Ma asks from me is to trust her and to become a child once again - what a blessing! In a world where everyone asks you to become mature, become an adult, act in a certain way, become some or the other identity that satisfies the ego, my Ma just asks me to become a child once again and trust her just like a child does. And to be honest, this becoming a child once again, this trusting quality is also something that Ma only gives. One really does not need to do anything to receive the Grace of my Ma.
I wish more and more people find their abode at the feet of my Ma and come to experience the true love of a Guru and once again be blessed to become a child - while being an adult. I love you my MA. With Love and Love only.

Once a year the Association of Friends meets for the statutory Annual General Meeting during which we deal with all the required formalities and hear short reports on the various projects organized by the Association. The Association not only supports the ashram financially with its membership fees but also helps to create and maintain the venues blessed by Ma’s presence where people can come and honour Ma’s and their beloved Guru Sri Neem Karoli Baba, sing mantra, meditate or receive Ma’s darshan. These seva projects include gardening and handcraft, cooking, cleaning, baking and PR.
At the beginning of the meeting we held a moment of silence and Ma’s words of orientation were read
please realise that every one of you is contributing to carry the joyful message of unconditional love out into the world – the love that lives within every being.
what you accomplish in small ways shall bear rich fruit.
with much love, ramram, your MA
With these inspiring and encouraging words in our hearts we continue on our spiritual path led by our beloved Ma

This summer, Krishna Das is on tour through Germany, and several of his kirtan events are taking place very close to the ashram. This inspired us to invite him in the name of Ma to visit Maharajji’s ashram here in Germany.
To get in touch with Krishna Das, we also contacted Rabboo Joshi Ji, one of Baba’s eldest devotees who met Maharajji when he was just fourteen years old. On his initiative and together with several devotees from India and the UK, he donated the beautiful large murti of Lord Hanuman ji which now abides in Sri Neem Karoli Baba Mandir. At Ma’s invitation, Rabboo Joshi also spent several days at the ashram in 2023.
Although Krishna Das’s very hectic tour schedule unfortunately does not allow him to visit the ashram this time, as Nina Rao replied to the ashram, we were deeply touched by this heartfelt email that Rabboo Joshi Ji wrote to him and which he forwarded to the ashram.
Hari Har and Kamallata
Dear KD/ Nina
I received a request from Maharaj JI Ashram at ULM Ashram in Germany which is being run by Ma Durgamayi. She has very dedicated Chelas (disciples) who help her run two establishments.
Two years ago I sent one Hanuman moorti. Which they affectionately accepted to worship. I personally went to Ulm for five days with my daughter and granddaughter and felt as if I was at KAINCHI DHAM 1. They are 2 hours distance from Stuttgart and Munich. They would like to invite you for a visit and stay if you like. Durgamayi Ma is highly devoted SAINT and worships Maharaj JI intensely. Late K.K. Shah also visited them and stayed there. Vishnu Digamber, the deceased husband of Maa Durgamayi was a friend of KK. I strongly recommend to find time and visit them ( stay if you have time space ). I hope you will get in touch with them. Sending you their number. Harihar and Kamallata are the contact point. Knowing your leanings, I am sure you are going to love it.
Carry on dear brotherLove and hugs to both. Truly yours
Rabboo Joshi
