Easter 2019 at Brindavon Ashram

At 5 o’clock in the morning we gather around the Easter fire in the courtyard and silently listen to Ma’s words:

Do not see this fire as an ordinary fire, do not see it as the Easter fire already known to you - as lit every year on Easter Sunday - but see it more freely and with a more open heart and eye - recognize this fire as the eternal flame burning in your hearts. The candle that you light on the fire and carry into the darkness of the temple room is the inner light, lit on the fire of your hearts, that you carry into every corner of your being as the Divine Love.
— Durgamayi Ma

At the Easter fire we receive a small light, carry it gently into the temple and see and experience how these many small lights illuminate the darkness.
