From Friday, August 28, Sri Neem Karoli Baba Mandir will be closed for two weeks. Hanuman Chalisa and Kirtan will not take place during this time — but Brindavon Ashram in Ulm opens daily for aarti at 6 pm. On Friday, September 11, Baba Mandir will open again with the celebrations of Baba's 53rd Mahasamadhi.

Easter

Every year at the ashram we celebrate Easter and remember the resurrection of Jesus Christ. It is the powerful image of an inner process, as Ma shows us – a process of spiritual renewal and overcoming our human nature.
As part of the celebration we light an Easter fire, for which we gather early in the morning and immerse ourselves in the sacred stillness of Ma’s presence.

Easter celebrates the resurrection - try to imagine it as completely identical to enlightenment, the liberation from oneself. For the resurrection is preceded by a death, a dying that can also be understood on an inner level: leaving behind, letting go of something old in order to ascend into the new.
